LPN/LVN (Primary Care/Urgent Care/Emergency Room)
Our client, a Retail Pharmacy, is looking for an LPN/LVN for their Washington, DC location. Responsibilities include administering oral, injectable, intravenous, and topical medications, evaluating complex patient conditions, monitoring pain levels, and documenting treatment responses. The LPN/LVN will apply advanced knowledge of vital sign monitoring, perform routine assessments, manage patient access to healthcare, conduct medication reviews, develop and administer mental health assessments, accurately document patient medical history, use excellent communication skills to interact with patients, families, and other healthcare professionals, and keep an organized, well-stocked, clean clinic at all times.
Requirements include previous experience in Primary Care, Urgent Care, or Emergency Room, experience with phlebotomy, vaccine administration, and point-of-care testing, a minimum of one-year related work experience in a healthcare setting, proficiency with electronic medical record (EMR) systems, verifiable high school diploma or GED, and a full, active, and unrestricted license as a Licensed Practical or Vocational Nurse in a State, Territory, or Commonwealth of the United States or District of Columbia.
