Assistant Warehouse Manager

A well-established manufacturer and distributor is seeking an Assistant Warehouse Manager to help drive operational excellence, inventory accuracy, employee development, and warehouse efficiency at its Virginia facility. What You'll Do

• Assist in managing daily warehouse operations, including receiving, storage, inventory control, and shipping.
• Drive inventory accuracy through cycle counts, stock management, and discrepancy resolution.
• Improve warehouse processes, productivity, and workflow efficiency.
• Help lead and develop warehouse employees through coaching, training, and performance management.
• Coordinate warehouse equipment maintenance and preventative maintenance schedules.
• Support staffing, scheduling, reporting, and operational planning.
• Maintain compliance with safety, quality, and company standards.
• Collaborate cross-functionally to support customer service and operational goals.

What We're Looking For

• 3+ years of warehouse leadership experience in the food distribution or food manufacturing industry .
• Strong inventory management and warehouse operations experience.
• Experience supervising and developing warehouse personnel.
• Excellent organizational, communication, and time management skills.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office, including Excel and Outlook.
• High attention to detail and ability to prioritize in a fast-paced environment.
• Bilingual English/Spanish is highly preferred.
• Valid driver's license and ability to travel occasionally as needed.

Compensation & Benefits

• Base salary: $75,000-$100,000
• Eligible for annual management bonus program of up to 20% of base salary
