Construction Materials Tester in Austin

Construction Materials Testing Technician As a Technician, Level I you will assist in the performance of routine construction monitoring, field and/or laboratory tests. You will prepare and transport samples and reports, and perform non-technical functions and office tasks under close supervision of higher level technicians or supervisors. Essential Tasks Assist with sampling or testing of soils, concrete, asphalt and other materials as directed. Support field and/or laboratory personnel as needed to complete tasks. Transport equipment, specimens or documents to field personnel, laboratory, clients or other offices, and provide physical assistance in equipment set-up. Responsible for maintaining a clean work area. Assist other technicians or professional staff on routine tasks. Retain the information shown and explained to you so that you may become a self‑sufficient employee and continue to grow with our company.
