Staff Product Engineer

TCP is partnered with a partnered with a fast-growing, Series A startup building AI-powered software that automates and scales customer interactions across voice, text, and web channels. Their platform powers millions of customer conversations and is transforming how businesses engage with customers using AI. We’re hiring a Staff-Principal Product Engineer to help build and scale AI-powered communication products in the automotive technology space. This role is ideal for an experienced engineer who enjoys owning backend systems, contributing across the stack, and working closely with product and AI teams to ship high-impact features. You’ll focus on building scalable Python services, supporting frontend development in TypeScript/React, and improving real-time communication workflows across voice, SMS, and email. This role also involves system design, cloud deployment, architecture improvements, and helping modernize core product infrastructure. What You’ll Do Build and maintain scalable backend systems using Python Contribute to frontend features with TypeScript and React Support voice and multi-channel communication products Improve system performance, reliability, and scalability Lead refactoring and architecture improvements Deploy applications in cloud environments using Docker Collaborate closely with product, AI, and engineering leadership What We’re Looking For 6+ years of professional software engineering experience Experience with TypeScript and React Cloud deployment experience with AWS, GCP, or Azure Strong system design and architecture fundamentals Experience shipping production systems in fast-moving environments Comfortable using AI coding tools such as Cursor, Claude Code, Copilot, or similar Product-minded, collaborative, and comfortable owning projects end to end #J-18808-Ljbffr Talent Connect Protocol
