About the Position

Job Title: Registered Nurse Profession: Nursing Specialty: Cath Lab Duration: 13 weeks Shift: Day Hours per Shift: 8 hours (07:30 - 16:00) Experience: 1 year of Cath Lab experience required License: Active RN license required Certifications: BLS, ACLS required Must-Have: Call requirement every third week Description: Registered Nurse / Cath Lab RN with Angio/Vascular experience required. CATH LAB & INTERVENTIONAL CARDIAC CATH LAB experience is needed. Candidates must be licensed in the state of practice. Ability to work a minimum of two years in the Cath Lab setting is preferred. Candidates must possess strong skills in monitoring procedural sedation and emergency medications. Experience with activated clotting time and angioplasty procedures is essential. Knowledge of infection prevention and isolation precautions is required. Ability to administer and monitor thrombolytics, blood products, and IV vasopressors is necessary. Experience with cardiac catheterizations and percutaneous coronary interventions is needed. Candidates should have skills in obtaining 12-lead EKGs. Familiarity with EPIC charting is preferred. Candidates must be prepared to float within the hospital as needed. Expectation to work some holidays is required. References may be required upon submission.
