Key Responsibilities\n

• Conduct comprehensive evaluations of clients to assess the severity, frequency, and patterns of mood disorder symptoms.

• Develop and implement tailored treatment plans that incorporate the unique needs and treatment goals of each client.

• Utilize evidence-based therapeutic approaches such as Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT) and Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT) to provide effective treatment.

• Educate clients and their families about mood disorders, available treatment options, and effective self-care practices.

• Monitor client progress and adjust treatment plans as necessary to ensure optimal outcomes.

• Collaborate with psychiatrists and other healthcare professionals to facilitate integrated care for clients.

• Stay abreast of the latest research and advancements in the field of mood disorders to enhance therapeutic practices.

• Maintain accurate and confidential documentation in compliance with legal and ethical guidelines.

Patient Population / Client Focus\n

In this role, you will primarily work with clients who are struggling with mood disorders such as depression, bipolar disorder, and anxiety. You will also provide essential support to underserved populations, including individuals facing homelessness, refugees, and survivors of domestic violence. Your compassionate and nonjudgmental approach will be crucial in building trust and encouraging clients to engage in their treatment.

Qualifications\n

Compensation and Benefits\n
