The overall objective of this role is to lead applications systems analysis and programming activities.As part of this role, you will be responsible for data extraction and data analysis from structured and unstructured sources. You will develop systems and applications and implement them in a production environment by partnering with technology and business partners. You will have to address complex problems involving financial data with specific focus on credit risk management. You will have to have open and adaptive mindset to learn new and advanced models in LLM and GenAI and bring in innovative solutions to complex business problems.Responsibilities:Architect, Design, and implement robust Python-based solutionResolve variety of high impact problems/projects through in-depth evaluation of complex business processes, system processes, and industry standardsProvide expertise in area and advanced knowledge of applications programming and ensure application design adheres to the overall architecture blueprintUtilize advanced knowledge of system flow and develop standards for coding, testing, debugging, and implementationDevelop comprehensive knowledge of how areas of business, such as architecture and infrastructure, integrate to accomplish business goalsExperience in using writing and using shell script and other Linux featuresImplement Unit Testing and TDD to ensure software quality and maintainabilityQualifications:5+ years of experience designing and developing scalable and reliable applications.Proficiency in Python, SQL, Spark, PySparkProficiency with tools and LLMs will be and advantage.Ability to work independently and collaboratively within a team.Preferred Skills:Experience in GenAI/LLMs projects.Familiarity with distributed data/computing tools (e.g., Hadoop, Hive, Spark, MySQL).Background in financial business-like banking, risk management.Education:Bachelor’s degree/University degree or equivalent experience in STEM------------------------------------------------------Job Family Group: Technology------------------------------------------------------Job Family:Applications Development------------------------------------------------------Time Type:Full time------------------------------------------------------Primary Location:Rutherford New Jersey United States------------------------------------------------------Primary Location Full Time Salary Range:$142,320.00 - $213,480.00In addition to salary, Citi’s offerings may also include, for eligible employees, discretionary and formulaic incentive and retention awards.
