Desired Qualifications:

• Active licensure as a Registered Nurse (RN) or Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN/LVN) in Michigan
• Experience working with children or adolescents, preferably in a school or community setting
• Strong communication, collaboration, and advocacy skills
• Ability to respond effectively in emergency situations and implement individualized care plans
• Commitment to confidentiality and ethical standards in student care

Key Responsibilities:

• Deliver direct nursing care and monitor the health status of the assigned student throughout the school day
• Administer medications, monitor medical devices, and implement doctor’s orders as needed
• Maintain clear communication with school staff, family, and healthcare providers
• Document all nursing activities and any changes in the student’s condition
• Support the student’s participation in school routines and activities
