Senior Copywriter

Senior Copywriter (Marketing Communications Writer Senior) Location: Requires in‑office presence 1–2 days per week with flexibility for virtual work. Alternate locations may be considered for candidates within a reasonable commuting distance. The Senior Copywriter is responsible for developing strong, conceptual ideas and crafting compelling copy across all media to put the consumer first. The candidate brings a portfolio of smart, beautifully crafted campaigns and a passion for creative opportunity in every brief. Responsibilities Develop creative concepts and write executions under direction from the CD or ACD. Collaborate with an art director to create high‑standard work that meets or exceeds department expectations. Push creativity and innovation in both content and delivery. Juggle multiple projects, schedules, and priorities while maintaining a calm demeanor. Maintain brand tone, voice, and identity to improve audience engagement. Develop an understanding of the complexities of healthcare. Evaluate the effectiveness of communication plans and recommend strategies and implementation approaches. Write, edit, and review content for print programs (advertising, direct mail, social media, member materials) and digital programs (online advertising, microsites, text campaigns, email). Ensure all materials meet internal, external, legal, corporate standards, guidelines, and approval processes. Identify improvement efficiencies to support operational excellence and business initiatives. Mentor other communication specialists and support staff. Minimum Requirements BA/BS degree and a minimum of 5 years of related experience, or equivalent education and experience. Preferred Skills, Capabilities, and Experience Portfolio of conceptual and expertly crafted campaigns. Fluent in social media best practices and trends. Creative and strategic thinker with high standards and attention to detail. Strong problem‑solving, communication, and relationship‑building skills. Proficiency in Microsoft Office. Creative industry awards and earned media recognition (a plus). Compensation Salary range: $87,032 to $142,416 (based on location, experience, and qualifications).
