Accounting Clerk Pay: $23.00 per hour Location: Claremore, OK 74017 Shift: Monday Friday | 8:00 AM 5:00 PM Job Type: Temp-to-Hire Job Order #: 125193 Position Overview We are seeking a detail-oriented Accounting Clerk to join our team in Claremore, OK. This role supports daily accounting operations by processing financial transactions, maintaining accurate records, and assisting with accounts payable, accounts receivable, payroll, and reporting functions. The ideal Accounting Clerk has strong organizational skills, excellent attention to detail, and the ability to manage multiple priorities while maintaining confidentiality and accuracy. Required Experience & Skills Basic understanding of accounting principles and practices Proficiency with Microsoft Excel and accounting software (QuickBooks, SAP, or similar) Strong attention to detail and accuracy Excellent organizational and time management skills Strong communication and problem-solving abilities High school diploma or equivalent required Associate’s degree in Accounting or related field preferred Reliable attendance and strong work ethic required Essential Duties & Responsibilities Process accounts payable and accounts receivable transactions accurately and efficiently Prepare and enter financial data into accounting software Reconcile bank statements and financial records Assist with payroll processing and employee expense reporting Maintain organized filing systems for financial documents and records Generate invoices and follow up on outstanding customer payments Assist in preparing financial reports and account summaries Communicate with vendors, customers, and internal departments regarding billing and payment issues Ensure compliance with company policies, accounting procedures, and financial standards Support additional accounting and administrative functions as assigned Preferred Qualifications Previous accounting or bookkeeping experience Experience with ERP or financial management systems Knowledge of payroll processing procedures Strong analytical and data entry skills Physical Requirements Ability to sit and work at a computer for extended periods Ability to perform repetitive keyboard and data entry tasks Ability to occasionally lift office materials or files as needed Work Environment Professional office environment Primarily computer-based work with standard business hours Occasional overtime may be required during peak accounting periods Team-oriented atmosphere requiring accuracy and confidentiality Why You'll Want This Opportunity Stable Monday Friday schedule Long-term temp-to-hire opportunity Opportunity to grow your accounting and finance career Professional office environment with a collaborative team Consistent daytime hours with competitive pay #J-18808-Ljbffr
