Yard Driver / Hostler II
We are seeking a dependable and safety-focused Yard Driver / Hostler II to move tractors and trailers within our yard. This position is responsible for safely positioning equipment at dock doors, staging trailers, and supporting daily yard operations.
Monday-Friday, 3PM Start Time!
$25.53 Hourly!
Key Responsibilities
- Move tractors and trailers within the yard to designated dock doors, staging areas, and parking locations
- Perform yard checks to ensure trailers are properly positioned and secured
- Conduct pre- and post-move inspections of yard equipment and report any issues
- Communicate with warehouse and operations staff to prioritize trailer moves
- Maintain accurate yard organization and assist with overall yard flow
- Follow all safety procedures, company policies, and DOT regulations
- Keep yard areas clean, orderly, and free of hazards
Qualifications
What do you need to be qualified to drive for XGS?
- Valid Class A License: Must hold a valid Class A license in order to qualify for this position.
- 24 Months Experience: If you have a minimum of 24 months experience as a yard driver, we want to hear from you!
- Age Requirement: You must be at least 23 years old to apply.
