Position Details:

Radiologic Technologist- Tuba City, AZ

Location : Tuba City, AZ 86045

Duration : 13 Weeks Contract

Salary Range : $55- $60/hr

Shift Timing : 4/10s Monday through Thursday from 9A-8P

Job Description:
We are seeking an experienced and skilled Radiologic Technologist to join our healthcare team. The Radiologic Technologist will provide specialized diagnostic and therapeutic imaging services for both inpatient and outpatient populations across multiple clinical specialties. This role is responsible for performing diagnostic radiographic procedures, operating radiology equipment safely and efficiently, and ensuring high-quality imaging to support patient diagnosis and treatment.



Key Responsibilities:

• Perform diagnostic radiologic procedures in accordance with physician orders and established protocols.
• Operate radiologic X-ray equipment and ensure accurate image acquisition and processing.
• Prepare patients for imaging procedures by explaining processes and ensuring patient comfort and safety.
• Review radiographic images for quality and completeness before submission for interpretation.
• Utilize and maintain teleradiology and fax equipment to support diagnostic operations.
• Document imaging procedures and patient information accurately within Allscripts EMR.
• Adhere to radiation safety standards and infection prevention protocols.
• Collaborate with physicians and multidisciplinary care teams to support quality patient outcomes.
• Maintain imaging equipment functionality and report operational concerns when necessary.

Required Qualifications:

• Minimum 3 years of Radiologic Technologist experience
• Arizona State License in Radiology (R) - Required
• ARRT Certification in Radiology - ARRT (R) - Required
• Current Basic Life Support (BLS) certification through the American Heart Association (AHA) - Required
• Successful completion of radiology training from an AMA-approved School of Radiology
• Completion of formal training in the radiology field
• Experience operating teleradiology and fax equipment
• Strong knowledge of radiographic procedures, imaging protocols, and patient safety standards

Preferred Skills:

• Excellent communication and patient care skills
• Ability to work independently and in a multidisciplinary environment
• Strong attention to detail and technical proficiency in imaging operations
