Senior Accountant And Analyst For Audit Sustainment And Remediation
Incumbent typical work assignments may include the following:
- Serves as a senior accountant and analyst for Audit Sustainment and Remediation. In this capacity, the incumbent is responsible for executing efforts to remediate WHS' audit issues to support the DoW in obtaining a clean audit opinion.
- Contributes to work efforts to achieve audit sustainment and remediation milestones of the DoW. Responsible for performing audit preparation and sustainment functions and assessing compliance for accounting processes, records, reports, and supporting systems.
- Provides financial and accounting advice and assistance to support customers in the application of financial management and accounting principles. Provides functional recommendations on finance and accounting issues.
- Routinely meets with representatives from OSW, Military Departments, and other agencies to exchange information, solve problems, and assist customers in meeting requirements.
