This facility operates as a Level 1 trauma center providing comprehensive emergency and operative trauma surgery services. The hospital maintains established protocols and dedicated staffing to support high-acuity trauma care across clinic, OR, and ER settings. Locum tenens coverage is utilized to supplement the existing call schedule and ensure continuity of trauma surgery services.

The region offers a range of cultural and recreational attractions, including museums, gardens, and outdoor destinations. Clinicians on assignment may explore regional waterfront areas, live music events, and local exhibitions, as well as year-round outdoor recreation opportunities throughout the state.

The trauma surgeon will provide in-house call coverage across clinic, OR, and ER settings at a Level 1 trauma facility in New York. Clinicians are responsible for immediate response to trauma activations and surgical cases throughout each assigned call period. The position is on-site and supports a high-volume trauma department.
