Job Description As a Security Officer Patrol in Lynchburg, VA , you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Financial Institutions, and more. As an Unarmed Patrol Officer at a financial institution, you will conduct routine patrols, maintain a visible presence to help deter security-related incidents, and support a welcoming environment for employees and visitors. You will communicate professionally, respond to concerns, and document activities using computer or tablet tools. Position Type: Full Time Pay Rate: $22.66 / Hour Job Schedule: DayTime Wed 03:00 PM - 11:00 PM, Thu 03:00 PM - 11:00 PM, Fri 03:00 PM - 11:00 PM, Sat 07:00 AM - 03:00 PM, Sun 07:00 AM - 03:00 PM What You'll Do Provide customer service to employees, visitors, and/or vendors at a financial services location by carrying out site-specific security-related procedures, policies, and emergency response activities as appropriate. Conduct regular and random unarmed patrols of interior areas, exterior grounds, parking areas, and the business perimeter to help identify unusual activity, unauthorized access, and/or maintenance concerns. Monitor access points and visitor activity, verify credentials or authorization as directed by site procedures, and report access-related concerns to the appropriate personnel. Respond to incidents, alarms, and critical situations in a calm, professional, problem-solving manner; document observations and actions in accordance with site requirements. Maintain accurate activity logs and incident reports, communicate relevant information to Allied Universal leadership and site contacts, and support a professional environment. Minimum Requirements Must be a graduate of a Law Enforcement or Military Police Training Program or equivalent. Customer service experience is preferred. Comfortable using a computer or tablet is preferred. CPR and First Aid certification is preferred. CPR certification is preferred. Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles. Possess a high school diploma or equivalent. As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
