Description

Apple is seeking a compensation & benefits attorney with experience in a wide variety of matters, including executive compensation, global employee benefits, compensation, and equity programs. This position will report to the Principal Counsel for Total Rewards Legal within Apple’s Corporate & Compliance Legal Department.

Minimum Qualifications

  • 5 or more years of experience in global benefits, compensation and/or global equity law.

  • JD or equivalent and admission to at least one US state bar.

  • Strong technical knowledge of relevant U.S. federal tax and securities laws (IRC, ’33 and ’34 Acts, Sarbanes-Oxley, Dodd-Frank, ERISA) and general familiarity with applicable foreign laws related to compensation, benefit and/or equity plans in non-US jurisdictions.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Able to provide practical legal advice with regard to a wide variety of issues that arise in the context of global total rewards programs.

  • Has a demonstrated ability to quickly identify, analyze and propose practical solutions to legal and business issues and lead projects to successful implementation.

  • Collaborative, proactive, and adaptable in a fast-paced environment.

  • Self-starter who takes ownership, exercises sound judgment, and maintains attention to detail.

  • Creative thinker who thrives on developing innovative, practical solutions to new challenges.

  • Litigation and dispute experience is welcome but not required.
