Intensive Care Unit (ICU) Nurse - El Cajon, CA

Qualifications:

• Active, unencumbered RN license
• Minimum of one year of recent ICU experience
• Current BLS and ACLS certifications
• Strong assessment and critical thinking skills

Responsibilities:

• Monitor and assess critically ill patients, ensuring timely interventions and ongoing evaluation of care needs
• Administer medications, treatments, and advanced therapies according to established protocols and physician orders
• Collaborate with physicians, respiratory therapists, and multidisciplinary teams to provide comprehensive patient care
• Document all aspects of patient care accurately in the electronic medical record
• Educate patients and families on treatment plans, progress, and recovery expectations
• Maintain a safe, clean, and therapeutic environment in compliance with healthcare standards
