Part-Time Medical AssistantWe are seeking a dedicated and experienced Part-Time Medical Assistant to join our team. This job is ideal for you if you are eager to learn, like to help people, not afraid of children, and is a team player. Experience in Medical Electronic health Systems, (Ecw preferred), Injections, simple lab testing, and taking vitals, is imperative. This role involves a variety of responsibilities aimed at supporting our medical staff and ensuring a high standard of care for our patients.Medical Assistant Key Responsibilities:Perform vital sign assessments and accurately record patient informationTake patient medical histories and document relevant detailsAdminister vaccines and other medications as directed by the physicianUpdate and maintain patient medical records in compliance with regulationsContact patients to provide test results and follow-up informationAssist physicians during patient examinations and proceduresEnsure a clean and organized work environmentMedical Assistant Qualifications:Certification as a Medical Assistant from an accredited programProven experience in a medical assistant role or similar healthcare positionStrong communication and interpersonal skillsAbility to work effectively in a fast-paced environmentProficient in electronic medical records (EMR) systemsKnowledge of medical terminology and proceduresWe offer a supportive work environment and opportunities for professional growth.
