Job Summary
Cuready Healthcare Staffing is seeking a qualified Registered Nurse - Labor and Delivery to support patient care and clinical operations within healthcare facilities. The ideal candidate will deliver safe, high-quality care while collaborating with interdisciplinary care teams and maintaining compliance with facility policies and professional standards.

Responsibilities

Provide nursing care utilizing the nursing process, including assessment, diagnosis, planning, intervention, and evaluation.

Address complex psychological, emotional, cultural, and social needs of patients and families in accordance with practice level.

Administer medications and treatments; monitor for side effects and effectiveness.

Document patient history, symptoms, medication, and care given accurately and timely.

Assess learning needs and provide education to patients, family members, and caregivers.

Make appropriate assignments and delegate to other care providers to manage clinical situations.

Qualifications

Bachelor of Science in Nursing preferred; current RN license in Texas or compact state required.

Current BLS and ACLS certification required (AHA only).

Current NRP certification required.

1 year of experience in labor and delivery nursing preferred.

Current C-EFM certification or completion of an AWHONN Intermediate Fetal Heart Monitoring course.

Must attend New Nurses Orientation within the first 30 days of hire.
