Operations Manager

Operations ManagerViridian Staffing's client is looking for an exceptional people manager to join as the Operations Manager, overseeing their warehouse and distribution facility about 30 minutes north of Ukiah/90 minutes north of Santa Rosa. Founded in 2013, Viridian Staffing is the premier staffing, recruiting, and HR consulting firm solely dedicated to organizations in and supporting the commercial, medical, and industrial cannabis/hemp industry. In this role, you will have the opportunity to oversee distribution/facility functions and ensure that SOP's are being followed. You will use your leadership and team management skills to supervise the operations team, providing training, support, and managing performance expectations. You will have the opportunity to also oversee the maintenance and security of the facility, including any potential facility upgrades and working with external contractors. Since you are highly organized and a good time manager, you'll make sure that both inventory and dispatch operations are managed in the most efficient way possible. You'll be responsible for implementing and managing inventory control procedures and are known for your ability to develop these procedures in a way that maintains optimize inventory levels and minimizes discrepancies. Ideally, you also bring with you some knowledge of cannabis/hemp traceability systems and compliance; and understand how to comply with California State Regulations, FDA GMP's, OSHA regulations, our Client's SOP's, and all applicable laboratory procedures. Your prior team members would consider you an inspirational and collaborative, data driven leader dedicated to setting the organization up for success through continuous improvement. Your background should include a Bachelor's degree or higher in Business Administration, Supply Chain Management, Logistics, or relevant degree and at least 5+ years of experience as an Operations or Project Manager in a manufacturing/distribution environment. You should also have at least 2+ year of experience managing people directly. You have experience in inventory management, logistics, dispatch, warehouse, and facility maintenance. You're known by your colleagues for being detail oriented and have experience in Microsoft Office, along with warehouse management systems. You have exceptional communication skills, enabling you to explain (and you enjoy explaining) complex information to others. You bring with you experience developing, implementing, and monitoring Standard Operating Procedures and have general business administration skills. Experience with hemp or cannabis is preferred but not required. Compensation: $75,000-$150,000/annually. Viridian Enterprises LLC is an Equal Opportunity Employer.
