OPSEC Planner -Senior

Parsons is seeking an experienced OPSEC Planner - Senior to integrate Operations Security into the Information Environment, protecting friendly intentions, capabilities, and vulnerabilities while enabling effective influence and information‑related activities. Responsibilities Ensure OPSEC considerations are embedded across campaign design, planning, execution, and assessment to support J39 objectives during competition, crisis, and conflict. Identify and manage critical information across the physical, informational, and human dimensions of the operational environment, assessing how friendly actions, communications, and behaviors may expose vulnerabilities. Conduct OPSEC assessments to evaluate risk associated with operational activities and information disclosure, providing risk‑informed recommendations to commanders and planners. Advise J39 leadership, planners, and Information Forces on OPSEC countermeasures that protect critical capabilities without undermining desired OIE effects. Collaborate closely with OIE planners, MISO/PSYOP teams, MILDEC planners, electromagnetic spectrum operations (EMSO), and cyber forces to synchronize OPSEC with influence, deception, and multi‑domain operations. Analyze adversary collection capabilities, technical means, and information exploitation threats to anticipate how opponents detect, interpret, and exploit friendly actions in the information environment. Ensure OPSEC considerations are incorporated into wargames, exercises, contingency operations, and deliberate campaign planning, supporting realistic testing of assumptions and risk. Develop and deliver OPSEC training and awareness to reinforce discipline and risk‑informed decision‑making across the staff and mission partners, ensuring OPSEC remains an enabler of operational advantage, not a constraint on effective OIE. Qualifications Bachelor’s degree and 13+ years of experience. Years of comparable experience may be used in lieu of a degree (high school diploma 17+ years, associate’s 15+ years, master’s 10+ years). Must hold a current/active TS/SCI clearance or higher. Security Clearance Requirement An active Top Secret SCI security clearance is required.
