Luxury Automotive Service AdvisorJaguar Land Rover Columbia is seeking a polished, driven, and customer-focused Luxury Service Advisor to join our team. This position is ideal for an automotive professional who understands that luxury service is built on trust, proactive communication, attention to detail, and a consistently exceptional ownership experience.As a Service Advisor, you will serve as the primary point of contact between our clients and the service department. You will listen carefully, communicate clearly, recommend services with confidence, and coordinate with our technicians to ensure each vehicle is repaired correctly and delivered as promised.What You’ll DoWelcome each client with professionalism, warmth, and urgency.Conduct a thorough service walk-around and accurately document client concerns.Prepare detailed repair orders and clearly communicate recommended maintenance and repairs.Provide proactive updates throughout the repair process, including changes in timing, cost, or repair scope.Review technician findings, multipoint inspections, photos, and videos before presenting recommendations.Build trust by explaining repairs in a clear, honest, and easy-to-understand manner.Obtain client authorization and maintain accurate documentation throughout the repair.Coordinate with technicians, parts personnel, warranty administrators, valets, and management.Monitor repair progress and ensure promised completion times are met.Review completed work and charges with the client at vehicle delivery.Follow up on declined services and ensure future maintenance needs are documented.Support client retention through personalized follow-up and relationship building.Maintain strong performance in customer satisfaction, sales effectiveness, hours per repair order, and overall production.Resolve concerns professionally and take ownership of the client experience.Follow all Jaguar Land Rover, dealership, safety, warranty, and documentation standards.What We’re Looking ForPrevious automotive service advisor experience is strongly preferred.Luxury or high-line automotive experience is a plus.Excellent verbal, written, and telephone communication skills.Professional appearance and a polished, hospitality-driven approach.Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple clients and repair orders.Confidence presenting maintenance and repair recommendations without using pressure-based tactics.Ability to remain calm, accurate, and solutions-focused in a fast-paced environment.Comfortable using dealership management systems, digital inspections, email, text messaging, and other service technologies.Strong follow-through and personal accountability.Valid driver’s license with an acceptable driving record.Availability to work the dealership’s required schedule, including Saturdays as needed.How Success Will Be MeasuredCustomer satisfaction and loyaltyRepair-order production and gross profitEffective labor rate and hours per repair orderMaintenance and repair recommendation acceptanceConsistent client communicationRepair-order accuracy and documentationDeclined-service follow-upRepeat and retained service clientsTeamwork and departmental contributionThe Mills WayEvery member of our team is expected to represent the five pillars of the Mills Way:Character: Do the right thing, especially when no one is watching.Integrity: Communicate honestly and keep every commitment.Hard Work: Approach each client and repair order with energy and urgency.Teamwork: Work across departments to create a seamless client experience.Production: Deliver measurable results while protecting long-term client relationships.Why Join Jaguar Land Rover Columbia?At Jaguar Land Rover Columbia, you will represent two of the world’s most recognized luxury automotive brands while building relationships with clients who expect—and appreciate—exceptional service.
