PATIENT TRANSPORTATION SPECIALIST- Per Diem

Patient Transportation Specialist A counselor is responsible for transporting patients to and from the facility while providing courteous, respectful interaction and enhancing positive socialization. The role demands customer‑service excellence, safety, and community representation. Key Responsibilities: Provide encouragement and support to patients to help them meet outpatient treatment plan goals. Deliver a positive experience for patients at all times. Offer a transportation experience that treats all patients with respect and dignity, encouraging and supporting them. Greet each patient at the van door and assist them in and out of the van as needed. Requirements: Education: High school graduate or equivalent. Licensure: Valid Class B driver’s license. Additional Requirements: 21 years or older with a good driving record; ability to work Saturdays and cover when needed; flexible work hours, including occasional overtime; positive interpersonal skills.
