Tax Accountant
Our client is a well-established, mid-sized law firm with a strong reputation in tax, trusts & estates, and private client services. The firm advises high-net-worth individuals, family offices, closely held businesses, and partnerships.
Job Description
- Prepare and review federal, state, and local tax returns for individuals, trusts, estates, partnerships, and closely held entities
- Assist attorneys with tax projections, planning analyses, and structuring support
- Prepare estimated tax payments, extensions, and related filings
- Research tax issues and summarize findings for attorneys and senior team members
- Coordinate with outside accounting firms as needed
- Communicate directly with clients to gather tax information and respond to inquiries

The Successful Applicant
A successful Tax Accountant should have:
- A degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.
- 3-5 years of experience within public accounting
- Strong knowledge of federal, state, and local tax regulations.
- Proficiency in tax preparation software and financial analysis tools.
- Excellent attention to detail and organizational skills.
- Strong problem-solving abilities and analytical thinking.
- Ability to work both independently and collaboratively in a professional environment.
