Mobile Fleet Mechanic

Location: Syracuse, NY, United States Work Environment: In-person Pay: $23.00/hour Schedule: Full-time (30+ hours/week) End Date: April 14, 2026 Job Overview: In this role, you will be responsible for performing inspections, maintenance, and repairs to ensure the reliability and availability of fleet vehicles. You will also contribute to improving maintenance workflows, repair standards, and data tracking processes, while collaborating closely with operations teams to maintain fleet readiness. Mobility Fleet Mechanic Key Responsibilities: Perform inspections, maintenance, and repairs on bikes and scooters Ensure fleet reliability and availability Improve maintenance workflows and repair standards Track and document maintenance data and issues Collaborate with operations teams for fleet readiness Maintain clean and organized tools/work areas Daily Responsibilities: You will manage maintenance efforts across the fleet, ensuring bikes and scooters are in working condition. The role may also involve supporting or guiding other mechanics and contributing to overall operational efficiency at the worksite. Requirements: High School Diploma or GED 1+ year experience as a bicycle/scooter mechanic Strong written and verbal communication skills Ability to work nights/weekends if needed Ability to lift up to 50 lbs Comfortable cycling in urban areas Able to stand, bend, and move for long periods Ability to operate a golf cart, scooter, or bike Business Context: Bikes stored for 2 years need inspection and repair for the Mexico City expansion Are you authorized to work in the USA? * Yes No Are you able to lift up to 50 lbs and be on your feet for extended periods? * Yes No Are you able to work in Syracuse, NY in an in-person role? * Do you have at least 1 year of experience repairing bicycles or scooters? * Yes No #J-18808-Ljbffr TRUCKING PEOPLE
