Job Description\n American Traveler is seeking a travel nurse RN ED - Emergency Department for a travel nursing job in Colville, Washington.Job Description & Requirements\n \n Specialty: ED - Emergency Department\n Discipline: RN\n Start Date: 10/05/2026\n Duration: 13 weeks\n 36 hours per week\n Shift: 12 hours, days\n Employment Type: Travel\n \n Assignment Overview\n \n Shift: Days, 3x12hrs\n Hours: 36 hrs/wk\n Start Date: Oct 5, 2026\n Length: 13 weeks\n Openings: 1\n Description\n American Traveler is hiring an Emergency Department RN for a critical access hospital, requiring at least 1 year of ER experience and a WA or compact RN license in hand.Details\n \n Work in the Emergency Department of a critical access, non-trauma hospital with 25 staffed beds\n Patient ratios of 1:3-4\n Day shifts on a 3x12 hour schedule with rotating weekends required\n Variable day and evening shift start times (0700, 1000, or 1200)\n No night shifts, on-call, or floating between units required\n Uses Epic charting system\n Teaching hospital setting\n Requirements\n \n Active WA state or compact RN license required in hand at time of consideration\n Minimum 1 year of ER nursing experience required\n Required certifications: ACLS, BLS, NIHSS, PALS, TNCC\n Epic charting experience required\n Skilled in cardiac monitoring, dysrhythmia interpretation and management, and emergency response\n Experience with IV therapy, phlebotomy, central line care, and blood product administration\n Experience managing patients on continuous IV sedation and vasopressors\n Skilled in BiPAP/CPAP management, ABG interpretation, and care of ventilated patients\n Experience with isolation precautions, PPE, and triage\n 2 supervisory references covering 1 year of experience within the last 3 years required\n Additional Information\n \n Provide emergency department nursing care including triage, cardiac monitoring, and management of multisystem organ dysfunction\n May be expected to float between sister facilities near the contracted location\n Scrub color is not restricted\n No parking fees at this facility\n Must commit to working 3 of the 5 major holidays (Thanksgiving, Christmas Eve, Christmas Day, New Year's Eve, New Year's Day)\n All RTO and scheduling requests must be submitted upfront prior to offer\n Local candidates accepted at a lower bill rate within a 50-mile radius\n Former permanent staff may return as travelers after a 3-month waiting period, provided they reside more than 50 miles from the facility\n First-time travelers are welcome to apply\n \n \n American Traveler Job ID #P-754223.
