Job Title: MLOps Engineer

Location: Woodlawn, MD (supporting a federal client) local only with state exp

Any Visa no H1

Responsibilities:

Deploy and integrate machine learning models into production systems
Build and maintain automated ML pipelines (data ingestion, preprocessing, training, validation, deployment)
Manage cloud infrastructure for ML workloads (AWS, Docker, Kubernetes)
Implement monitoring and alerting systems for model performance
Automate ML workflows to improve efficiency and reproducibility
Optimize performance and scalability of ML models and infrastructure

Required Qualifications:

Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Mathematics, or related field (Master's/PhD may substitute for experience)
7+ years of professional experience, including 5+ years designing and maintaining ML workflows and data pipelines
Ability to obtain and maintain a Public Trust clearance
Strong foundation in AI/ML concepts and frameworks (TensorFlow, PyTorch, scikit-learn)
Advanced Python skills and libraries (NumPy, Pandas, etc.)
Experience with AWS ML services (e.g., SageMaker), CI/CD tools (Jenkins), Docker, Kubernetes
Knowledge of data engineering tools (Spark, PostgreSQL, MongoDB)
Strong communication, collaboration, and problem-solving skills

Preferred Qualifications:

Experience with federal or state government IT projects
Familiarity with natural language processing (NLP) and large language models (LLMs)
Knowledge of Java or Scala
Demonstrated passion for learning and staying current with emerging technologies
