Specialty Representative/Sr Specialty Representative -Primary Care - Yonkers, NY

Amgen seeks a Specialty or Senior Specialty Representative to promote pharmaceutical products across the Bronx, Yonkers, Mount Vernon, and New Rochelle areas. The role involves delivering clinical product knowledge to healthcare providers, implementing sales strategy, managing customer relationships, and achieving territory sales targets through in-person and virtual engagement.

Responsibilities

• Deliver current clinical knowledge of Amgen products to medical professionals and drive appropriate product utilization
• Achieve territory sales targets through branded messaging, educational programs, and both in-person and virtual engagement
• Develop and manage customer accounts by customizing interactions, ensuring product access, and resolving reimbursement issues
• Analyze territory effectiveness and develop sales plans in collaboration with District Manager
• Share best practices with colleagues and maintain focus on patient outcomes throughout the sales cycle

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree, or Associate's degree with 4+ years sales experience, or high school diploma with 6+ years sales experience
• For Senior level: Bachelor's with 3+ years sales/clinical experience, or Associate's with 6+ years, or high school with 8+ years
• Demonstrated sales leadership and ability to work under pressure
• Advanced influencing and relationship-building skills with focus on sales outcomes
• Preferred: pharmaceutical, biotech, or healthcare industry sales experience
• Preferred: product sales experience in oncology, cardiology, inflammation, or related specialties
• Knowledge of core competencies: sales planning, business knowledge, impactful communication, results focus, and relationship building
