Supply Chain Specialist

Job description 
The candidate shall be responsible for performing a wide array of tasks in Supply Chain including procurement, shipping, receiving and warehousing. Additional duties may include cost control management, equipment maintenance and other operational duties. The candidate is expected to be compliant with GXP regulations and be familiar with operational databases like WMS and ERP. The candidate is also expected to effectively interact with all levels of internal staff including PD/QC/QA, GMP team, BD team and external suppliers. 

Responsibilities 

Procurement and supplier management: Procuring materials, managing order prices and quantities, and identifying and maintaining good relationships with suppliers.

Logistics and distribution: Coordinating shipments, managing transportation and storage, and generating SOPs for shipping and cold chain management.

Receiving and inventory management: receiving and inspecting incoming materials and equipment, maintaining inventory of consumables, distributing materials, and making records according to procedures.

Process record and optimization: On-time recording transactions, analyzing supply chain data, resolving issues, improving processes, and identifying opportunities to reduce costs.

Other duties: Equipment maintenance, cost consolidation, forecasting demand, and other operational duties required by the company. 

Qualifications

  • A bachelor's degree in STEM, Logistics or Supply Chain with a minimum of two years of relevant experience. 

  • Attention to details is critical. 

  • Market knowledge, adaptability, and negotiation skills 

  • Ability to manage multiple activities in parallel. 

  • Bilingual (English and Mandarin) is highly desired

  • Strong communication and analytical skills required. 

  • Proficiency in MS Office, specifically Excel. 

  • Ability to prioritize work and meet strict deadlines. 

  • Ability to lift 50 pounds, to stand for prolonged periods, and to climb ladders to pull inventory from shelves.
