Product Strategist, Principal - Individual and Family Plan

Your Role

The Individual and Family Plan (IFP) Sales Growth Enablement team supports growth strategy and commercial performance for the individual and Family Plan line of business. The Product Strategist, Principal will report to the Leader of IFP Growth Enablement. In this role you will lead growth and performance insights to identify where IFP is growing, what is selling, and the cost of acquiring and retaining membership across on and off exchange channels. You will translate data and market intelligence into actionable recommendations that inform sales strategy, go-to-market priorities and business decisions.

Responsibilities

Your Work

In this role, you will:

• Guide evolution of business line portfolios to support growth, retention, and performance improvement objectives
• Design product strategy and plan frameworks aligned to benefit intent across complex implementations
• Lead translation of product strategy into comprehensive business requirements and delivery artifacts
• Direct synthesis and interpretation of product performance analytics to inform portfolio decisions
• Coordinate tracking of benefit design, implementation, and regulatory filing impacts across initiatives
• Develop executive ready materials that articulate strategy, tradeoffs, and implications clearly
• Provide expert guidance across the product development lifecycle to support issue resolution and decision making
• Lead analysis of membership, sales, channel and market performance to identify growth opportunities, emerging trends and business rivers
• Develop growth performance insights across on and off exchange channels including acquisition, retention, and cost of acquisition
• Translate complex data into actionable recommendations that inform Sales go to Market priorities

Qualifications

Your Knowledge and Experience

• Requires a bachelor’s degree or High School Diploma/GED and 4 years of additional relevant experience in lieu of a degree
• Requires 10 years of prior relevant experience
• Requires demonstrated experience designing product strategy frameworks; guiding synthesis of market, performance, and benefit data across complex initiatives or product portfolios; and bringing products to market
• Requires experience analyzing sales, membership, market and financial performance to identify growth opportunities
• Requires experience developing KPIs, performance metrics and executive level reporting to support business decision making
• Requires experience translating business requirements into requirements for Data Analytics team, Finance and other cross functional partners
• Requires experience in Commercial health care markets, Individual, Group and/or Medicare
