Looking for Entry Level candidates

The Operations Specialist – Trade Management is responsible for performing specialized operational securities processing activities in support of the firm’s business lines. This includes activities such as; instruction receipt, authentication and routing, entry instruction and verification, processing and recording and reporting and reconciliation. The Operations Specialist must have the ability to identify market related issues on instructions (missing or conflicting requirements) and communicate these issues along with expected resolution directly to clients. The Specialist should also identify trends that will aid in the increased STP for both the Division as well as the Client, adding to the overall Client Experience.

• Entry of all client trades sent to Client which may be STP, automated but needing repair, or fully manual (rekey)
• Authenticates, confirms, and distributes all Faxed trades received into the Bank
• Perform various edit checks on all electronic trades. Those trades with missing, incomplete, inconsistent or poorly formatted data are sent to repair for research and resolution
• Re-key - Faxed trade tickets are entered into GTPS
• Processing of complex and client specific instructions
• Verify (dual controls ) information prior to release to other areas of the firm as well as release to market
• Escalate known or potential issues to management
• Resolve transaction related problems using established procedures or client documentation and available systems
• Analyze trends and provide feedback on instruction content and format as related to market requirements/standards
• Ability to clearly and professionally communicate instruction related issues to clients
• Communicate expected resolution ( where applicable ) based on market knowledge
• Provide superior client service

Required Skills:

• Strong written and verbal communication skills
• An aptitude for analytical and problem resolution
• Self-starter, proactive and objective oriented
• Ability to execute tasks with little direction, and plan time effectively to meet deadlines
• Ability to multitask and deal

Education: 

• BS/BA degree or equivalent work experience

Notes:

• This role is on one of our operational teams that is responsible for entry of trade instructions, oversight, and execution on trade repairs, and partnering with clients on straight through processing (STP) solutions. Attention to detail, ability to thrive in fast paced environment, strong desire to learn, experience with process improvement.
• What is the expected hybrid schedule? 3 days in office, 2 days remote
• Weekly hours expected? 12PM- 8PM
• Expected term? 6 months
• Is this a contract-only assignment, or is temp-to-perm possible? Temp to perm is possible.
