This role is ideal for individuals with accounting or finance knowledge who are eager to expand their skills and advance their careers.ResponsibilitiesMatch and enter accounts payable invoices accurately and timely.Process non-purchase order invoices, ensuring products were approved and received before coding to the correct general ledger accounts.Process purchase order accrual invoices, verify pricing accuracy, and work with purchasing and receiving to resolve discrepancies.Review vendor statements, accounts payable aging reports, and accrual reports.Follow up with vendors and employees to resolve outstanding items and discrepancies.Prepare weekly accounts payable check runs, including gathering invoices and reconciling against accounts payable aging reports for Accounting Manager review.Prepare quick checks for accounts receivable overpayments as needed.Essential Skills3+ years of accounts payable experience or a Bachelor's Degree in Accounting or Finance.Job Type & LocationThis is a Contract to Hire position based out of Windom, MN.Pay and BenefitsThe pay range for this position is $24.00 - $26.00/hr. Individual compensation offered for this position within this range will depend on many factors, including qualifications, skills, relevant experience, job knowledge, geographic location, internal equity, and other pertinent job-related factors.
