Grace Animal Hospital is hiring an experienced veterinary technician or veterinary assistant. Position details include:

• Role: Experienced veterinary technician or veterinary assistant
• Status: Full-time
• Salary: Negotiable and based on experience
• Schedule: Four 10-hour shifts; no weekends, boarding, on-call shifts, or holiday hours
• Hospital hours: Monday through Friday, 7:30 AM 5:30 PM

Grace Animal Hospital is looking for an experienced veterinary technician or veterinary assistant to join our dedicated team. We're a four-doctor general practice with an established support staff committed to providing exceptional care for patients ranging from Bernedoodles and Bengals to bunnies.

Our hospital offers digital and dental radiography, ultrasound, therapeutic laser treatments, and a beautiful clinical environment. What you'll do:

• Assist veterinarians with patient exams, treatments, and procedures
• Provide compassionate nursing care to canine, feline, and small mammal patients
• Safely handle and restrain patients
• Support surgical procedures and anesthesia monitoring
• Assist with digital and dental radiography
• Support ultrasound and therapeutic laser treatments
• Perform venipuncture and IV catheter placement based on experience
• Collect and process laboratory samples

What you'll bring:

• Previous veterinary technician or veterinary assistant experience
• Veterinary technician licensure is welcomed but not required
• Strong patient care and animal-handling skills
• Experience assisting with exams, treatments, and procedures
• Knowledge of anesthesia monitoring and patient recovery
• Comfort with diagnostic testing and laboratory procedures
• Excellent client communication and education skills
