REPORTING This position reports directly to the Service Manager of the branch located in Millbury, MA. NO EXPERIENCE REQUIRED Prior experience in Pest Control and sales experience is a plus but not required. We will provide comprehensive classroom and field training to ensure you feel capable and confident to excel in your position. The company administers our training program. If you have a strong work ethic and have excellent customer service skills, we will ensure you’re provided with every resource necessary to succeed. PURPOSE OF THE POSITION This position is focused on the organization’s main goal for sustainability, which is selling new services and re‑selling the value of existing clientele. Through inspections, estimates, new sales, and service itself, these individuals influence customer attrition and new customer growth. DUTIES/RESPONSIBILITIES Regular interaction with customers to troubleshoot problems and communicate the details of the service Be able to work outdoors for most of the day Be able to lift at least 50 lbs Be able to crawl/kneel and/or fit in tight spaces Be able to apply liquid treatments to the soil Perform some drilling, trenching, and basic cleanup after a job Data entry and documentation into mobile devices for services performed Be flexible to work Monday–Saturday during the summer season QUALIFICATIONS High school diploma or equivalent Excellent communication skills Attention to detail Ability to read and understand simple documents regarding safety, regulatory or protocol standards Basic mathematical skills A talent for solving practical problems and effective reasoning Take and pass a series of exams as part of a new hire training Clean driving record Pass a background check Pass a drug screen RELATIONSHIPS This position will be trained by Insight’s online University Program, monitored by the Service Manager and Lead Technician, with ongoing support and supervision. This position is expected to ensure the quality of all customer relations in a courteous, respectful, and friendly manner. This commitment is to guarantee continuous improvement of services from us, to facilitate this endeavor. CERTIFICATIONS/LICENSING All candidates must either have an existing license or certification or acquire one with company training assistance.
