Role Overview

As a Registered Nurse at Henry Ford Health, you will provide leadership in coordinating and delivering quality, compassionate patient care. Utilizing the nursing process, you will assess, plan, implement, and evaluate care for patients and their families. Your role is essential in ensuring effective communication within the healthcare team and finding solutions to meet patient goals.

What You Will Do

• Provide leadership in the coordination and delivery of quality compassionate patient care.
• Utilize the nursing process to assess, plan, implement, and evaluate patient care.
• Delegate, supervise, and document care and teaching for patients and their families.
• Communicate pertinent patient/family information to the healthcare team.
• Participate in finding and implementing solutions for variances from patient goals.

Qualifications

Required Qualifications

• Graduation from an accredited school of nursing.
• Current licensure by the Michigan State Board of Nursing.
• Health care provider certification (BCLS) or completed within 3 months of hire 

Preferred Qualifications

• BSN preferred.
