We are looking for a dependable, kind, and team-oriented Hospital Aide to support our grooming, kennel, hospital, and mobile care teams.

This is a hands-on, fast-paced role for someone who enjoys staying busy and helping animals. Responsibilities include kennel care, cleaning, grooming support, animal handling, and assisting with mobile operations.

To provide the best possible care for our patients, team members should be comfortable working within our operating hours and maintaining flexibility as scheduling needs arise. While this position is primarily based at one hospital location, occasional coverage at our nearby hospitals (all within a 15-mile radius) may be requested to support our teams and patients. Because schedules are built around patient care needs, some week-to-week variation may occur. Candidates with reliable availability, adaptability, and a collaborative, team-focused approach will be especially successful in this role

Requirements

·         Assist groomers with bathing, handling, and pet preparation

·         Clean and maintain kennels, grooming areas, and common spaces

·         Safely and compassionately handle pets of varying sizes and temperaments

·         Support mobile operations wherever needed

·         Help create a positive experience for pets, clients, and teammates

·         Includes some evenings and weekends

·         Comfortable working a flexible schedule without guaranteed set shifts

·         Able to work independently and as part of a team

·         Comfortable in a physically active, fast-paced environment

·         Ability to lift and carry animals of varying sizes

·         Strong communication and attention to detail

·         Animal care experience preferred, but not required

Benefits

$15.00–$16.00 per hour

·         $100 on first paycheck

·         $150 after training completion

·         $250 six months after training
