Registered Nurse - Dialysis

Job Description

Job Summary:

Provides specialized nursing care to patients with dialysis needs, ensuring safe and effective treatment delivery. Supervises and collaborates with healthcare team members to coordinate patient care and promote positive outcomes.

Responsibilities:

• Assess patient conditions and vital signs to determine dialysis suitability and readiness.
• Develop and implement individualized care plans for patients undergoing dialysis treatments.
• Administer dialysis sessions while monitoring patient responses and adjusting as needed.
• Educate patients and families on dialysis procedures, post-treatment care, and health maintenance.
• Collaborate with physicians, technicians, and other healthcare providers to ensure seamless care delivery.
• Document all patient assessments, treatments, and medications accurately and thoroughly.

Qualifications:

• Hold a valid Registered Nurse (RN) license in the state of practice.
• Demonstrate experience working in a dialysis or nephrology setting preferred.
• Possess current Basic Life Support (BLS) certification from an approved vendor.
• Exhibit strong clinical assessment, critical thinking, and patient education skills.
• Possess excellent communication and teamwork abilities.
