St. Ann Center for Intergenerational Care We are a nonprofit organization that provides community-based health and educational services for children and frail adults and to serve as a resource and support for caregivers. The Center, sponsored by the sisters of St. Francis of Assisi, reflects Franciscan values in meeting the spiritual, psychological, social, and physical needs of all who participate regardless of faith, culture, or ability to pay.

St. Ann Center specializes in adult and child daycare services in a safe, homelike setting where compassion, care, and dignity are key. We bring all ages together from 6 weeks old to 100+. In 2016, St. Ann Center was recognized for the Best Intergenerational Award.

Position Overview:

The Marketing Intern will independently manage and grow St. Ann Center's social media presence by capturing authentic stories, photos, and moments from across both campuses. This role focuses on increasing public awareness, strengthening community engagement, and showcasing the organization's mission through compelling digital content. The intern will work closely with leadership for guidance but will operate as the primary social media voice for the organization.

Key Responsibilities

• Social Media Management - Maintain and update St. Ann Center's social media platforms (Facebook, Instagram, Tok-tok, LinkedIn, etc), ensuring consistent posting and brand alignment.
• Content Creation - Capture photos, videos, and stories from childcare, adult day services, intergenerational activities, events, and staff highlights.
• Storytelling - Write short, engaging posts that reflect St. Ann Center's mission, values, and community impact.
• Community Engagement - Respond to comments/messages, monitor engagement, and identify opportunities to grow audience reach.
• Brand Visibility - Develop ideas to increase public awareness through digital campaigns, hashtags, partnerships, and cross-promotion.
• Content Calendar - Create and maintain a weekly posting schedule to ensure consistent, strategic communication.
• Event Coverage - Attend on-site events to gather photos, interviews, and real-time content.
• Basic Graphic Design - Create simple social graphics using Canva or similar tools.
• Analytics Tracking - Monitor post performance and provide monthly summaries of reach, engagement, and growth.

Schedule & Compensation

• Part-time internship (10-15 hours/week).
• Flexible scheduling around school commitments.
• Paid internship or academic credit, depending on school requirements.

Qualification

• Strong interest in marketing, communications, digital media, or journalism .
• Ability to work independently, take initiative, and manage time effectively.
• Comfortable interacting with children, adults, staff, and community members.
• Basic photography/video skills; willingness to learn and improve.
• Familiarity with social media platforms and current trends.
• Clear, concise writing skills with an eye for storytelling.
• Respectful, professional, and mission-driven mindset.
