Description
Required:
- HSD/GED
- 3 years of experience with a large medical group practice
- Surgery scheduling experience in a high-volume setting
- Knowledge of HMO, PPO, and POS insurance plans
- Experience with Work Comp and WC cycle and protocols

Preferred:
- Bachelor's Degree (strongly preferred)
- Epic experience

Primary Duties and Responsibilities
• Performs all functions related to surgery scheduling including verifying insurance, scheduling of patients pre & post-operative appointments, obtaining health clearances, surgery authorizations, and scheduling surgical assistants; Ensure that all pre-operative studies are scheduled and completed prior to surgery.
