Radiologist

Position Overview
Inspire Medical Staffing is seeking an experienced Radiologist for an onsite locums assignment in Charleston, WV. This role requires onsite coverage only (no telehealth/remote reads) and offers a balanced schedule with primarily daytime hours and some night coverage.

Schedule:
Primarily day shifts
Some night shifts required
Flexible scheduling options available
Weekend coverage may be included depending on site needs

Clinical Setting:
Hospital-based radiology department
Onsite reading only (no remote/tele-radiology)
Adult patient population primarily
Case mix may include general diagnostic radiology, CT, MRI, ultrasound, and X-ray

Team structure:
Collaborative group of radiologists and support staff
Dedicated technologists and administrative support

Responsibilities:
Interpret and report on a wide range of imaging studies
Provide timely and accurate diagnostic reads
Collaborate with referring physicians and clinical teams
Ensure high-quality patient care and imaging standards
Participate in onsite coverage including occasional nights

Scope of Practice:
General diagnostic radiology
Bread-and-butter imaging studies with potential for some subspecialty reads depending on experience
No telehealth responsibilities; fully onsite role

Requirements:
Board-certified/board-eligible in Radiology
Active West Virginia license (or ability to obtain)
Prior diagnostic radiology experience required
