The team-member will participate in the financial close process, account's receivable function, revenue and cash reconciliations, lease accounting, fixed assets, quarterly reviews and the annual external audit. This position reports to the Manager of Accounting.What You Have:Prepare/participate in monthly close/consolidation and account reconciliation processesPrepare/participate in monthly reporting and analysis processesParticipate in annual external audit and statutory audit processesEnsure compliance with GAAP, including implementation of new standards and impact on businessA business partner to other departments including finance, payroll, SEC reporting, and store managers among othersIdentifies, recommends, and implements accounting process improvements to support the company goals and objectivesOther duties as assignedRequired Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities:Strong knowledge of Sarbanes-Oxley (SOX) requirements and controls/compliance infrastructureStrong knowledge and application of GAAP – US and internationalChange managementIntellectual curiosity/critical thinkingAbility to identify areas of improvement and drive resultsStrong sense of urgencyAbility to multi-task and manage multiple projects at a timeA forward thinking and improvement motivated mindsetStrong Microsoft Excel knowledgeExperience with Dynamics 365 Finance & Operations or other ERP systems is a plusProcess improvement/project management skills are a plusMinimum Required Education, Training and Experience:Bachelor's degree in accounting, CPA is a plusMinimum of 1-2 years accounting experienceFLSA: ExemptTravel : 5% or lessWork Type/Location : In office 5 days per week / SSC Boise, IDSavers is an E-Verify employer
