Labor and Delivery Registered Nurse (RN)

This is a 13-week contract position.

Located in South Carolina.

Night shift: 3x12-hour shifts (6:45 PM - 7:15 AM), with weekend requirements every other weekend.

We are seeking a skilled Labor and Delivery Registered Nurse (RN) to join our team. The RN will be responsible for overseeing the care and safety of mothers and newborns during and after the delivery process. The position entails working night shifts, with a commitment to working every other weekend and on-call requirements.

Responsibilities:

Provide high-quality nursing care to laboring patients.
Assist with high-risk deliveries and facilitate newborn care.
Monitor maternal and fetal health throughout the labor process.
Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to ensure comprehensive patient care.
Educate and support patients and families during the labor and delivery process.

Required Experience / Certifications / Licensure:

Minimum of 2 years of Labor and Delivery nursing experience.
Registered Nurse (RN) license in South Carolina or a Multi State/Compact RN license.
Certifications: BLS, ACLS, AWHONN Beginner, AWHONN Intermediate, FHM, NRP.
Preferred certifications: AWHONN Advanced, STABLE.
Epic experience is strongly preferred.
