FLYING WHALES designs, builds, and operates a fleet of LCA60T airships capable of loading and unloading up to 60 tons of cargo in mid-air with a particularly low environmental impact. This unique transport system is the first of its kind in the world. FLYING WHALES also develops FLYING WHALES SERVICES, the operating company for this fleet, which combines the skills of an airline and an airport company.

In the context of our organic growth in France and internationally, we are recruiting a Quality Systems Engineer – EN9100 (H/F).

Your missions:

• Deploy and maintain the Quality Management System (QMS) of FLYING WHALES

• Ensure compliance with Part 21 requirements regarding organizational approvals (DOA, POA, SMS, and Part-IS)

• Conduct quality audits and independent evaluations, as well as investigations

• Contribute to the preparation of the FLYING WHALES development project

• Establish and maintain the company's document framework

• Develop QMS/DOA/SMS extensions for subsidiaries

The candidate will participate in the development and evolution of the QMS in an international context:

• Participate in the development, deployment, and maintenance of the QMS in compliance with EN9100

• Plan and conduct internal and external audits, evaluations, investigations, and risk analyses

• Monitor internal and external action plans

• Contribute to compliance with Part-21 requirements

• Participate in the development of tools in collaboration with teams

• Analyze the effectiveness of corrective actions and continuous improvement

• Contribute to the implementation and monitoring of KPIs

• Participate in quality management reviews

• Promote the quality culture within the company

• Participate in the development and deployment of QMS extensions

• Contribute to activities related to POA, Part-IS, and ISMS

Your background:

• Engineering degree, ideally with a specialization in quality management

• Minimum 10 years of experience, ideally in aeronautics

• Experience with EN9100, ISO 27001, and EASA Part 21 (DOA/POA) standards

• Experience in auditing (internal certification auditor preferred)

Your skills:

• Knowledge of root cause analysis methods

• Proficiency with MS Office tools

Your qualities:

• Good team spirit and excellent communication skills

• Comfortable with writing documents, reports, presentations, and training

• Ability to thrive in an international environment
