TravelNurseSource is working with Cynet Health to find a qualified Med/Surg / Tele RN in Concord, North Carolina, 28025!

Job Title: MedSurg/Tele RN Profession: Registered Nurse Specialty: MedSurg/Tele Duration: 13 weeks Shift: 12hr Day Shift Hours per Shift: 36 Experience: 18 months of Med/Tele RN experience License: Registered Nurse Certifications: BLS, ACLS, NIHSS Must-Have: 18 months of Med/Tele RN experience BLS, ACLS, NIHSS Description: Recovery-oriented MedSurg/Tele unit with a focus on patient-centered care. A total of 10 beds are available on the unit. Average daily census is approximately 8 patients. Patient types commonly encountered include Chest Pain, Syncope, and Angina. The nurse-to-patient ratio is 1:5. The unit has a dedicated Resource RN to assist with admissions and discharges. Support staff includes hospitalists and respiratory therapists available 24/7. Nurses are involved in medication management, including cardiac drips, Heparin, blood products, and IV fluids. The unit utilizes electronic medical records (EMR) through a specified system. IV pumps and medication dispensing are managed with appropriate technology. Traveling nurses may be required to float to other nursing units based on patient care needs. Flexible staffing support will be provided according to regional demands. Weekend rotations are expected at every other weekend. Travelers will be expected to work a majority of holidays.
