Job Summary:

As a Charge Nurse, you will play a critical role in overseeing the day-to-day operations of our nursing units, ensuring high-quality patient care and exceptional staff support. Responsibilities:

• Oversee the daily operations of our nursing units, ensuring compliance with hospital policies and procedures

• Collaborate with the Nurse Manager and other healthcare professionals to develop and implement patient care plans

• Provide guidance and support to nursing staff, including mentoring and coaching as needed

• Conduct performance evaluations and provide constructive feedback to nurses

• Develop and maintain effective communication with patients, families, and other healthcare professionals

• Participate in quality improvement initiatives to improve patient outcomes and hospital processes

• Maintain accurate records and reports, including shift reports, patient charts, and statistical reports

Requirements:

• Current Texas RN license

• Night Shift 6PM-6AM

• Strong communication and interpersonal skills

• Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment with multiple priorities

• Strong organizational and time management skills

• Ability to maintain confidentiality and handle sensitive situations with discretion
