Founded in 2002, BackFit is a premier multi-specialty integrative health organization with 10 locations across the greater Phoenix metropolitan area. We specialize in physical medicine, chiropractic care, physical therapy, and non-prescriptive medical pain management.
To provide an even more holistic and comprehensive healing experience for our patients, we are expanding our service offerings and looking for passionate, licensed Acupuncturist to join our growing multidisciplinary team.
Position Overview
In this role, you will work hand-in-hand with our integrated team of providers—including medical staff, exercise technicians, and chiropractors—to case-manage and treat our existing patient base. By integrating acupuncture into our established care plans, you will help patients effectively manage pain, reduce inflammation, improve general wellness, and maximize their overall healing potential.
Key Responsibilities
- Collaborative Care: Partner closely with multidisciplinary providers on case management and integrated patient treatment plans.
- Clinical Excellence: Perform acupuncture and related modalities strictly within the LAc or DOM scope of practice while consistently utilizing clean needle techniques.
- Documentation & Assessment: Accurately assess, chart, and document all aspects of patient care in a timely manner.
- Inventory Management: Collaborate with the Office Manager to oversee and maintain necessary acupuncture supply inventories.
- Patient Experience: Deliver exceptional, patient-centered care with an emphasis on education, comfort, and outstanding bedside manner.
Qualifications & Skills
- Licensure: Must hold a valid, active license as an Acupuncturist (LAc) or Doctor of Oriental Medicine (DOM) in the state of Arizona.
- Interpersonal Skills: Exceptional communication skills and a compassionate, patient-first bedside manner.
- Team Player: A collaborative mindset with a proven ability to work seamlessly within a multi-specialty healthcare team.
- Reliability: Dependable with reliable transportation to commute to assigned clinic location(s).
