Allied Technician - Physical Therapist

Physical Therapist Assistant (PTA)The primary responsibility of the Physical Therapist Assistant (PTA) is to provide direct physical therapy interventions as planned, delegated, and supervised by a licensed Physical Therapist. In this role, you will be entrusted with ensuring the highest degree of quality care for residents at all times.ResponsibilitiesEvaluate, plan, and administer treatment to residents and patients with temporary or long-term disabilities to relieve pain, restore or improve function, and promote healing.Ensure all treatment is delivered according to an established plan of care.Provide clinical support and instruction to patients, families, and caregivers.Monitor patient responses to treatment interventions.Complete required forms and documentation in accordance with company policy and state/federal regulations.QualificationsAssociate degree from a CAPTE-accredited PTA program.Certification from the National Physical Therapy Exam (NPTE) for PTAs, administered by the Federation of State Boards of Physical Therapy (FSBPT).Strong understanding of human anatomy and physiology.Effective communication and interpersonal skills.Ability to follow instructions from a licensed Physical Therapist.Empathy and patience when working with patients.Physical stamina to assist patients with movement and exercises.RequirementsActive BLS certification issued by the American Heart Association (AHA).Current or prior discipline on professional licenses or certifications must be disclosed.A criminal background check will be required.Verification of professional license or certification must be completed prior to start.Core CompetenciesEnsuring the delivery of high-quality patient care.Assessing and adapting treatment plans based on patient needs and responses.Fostering a collaborative environment among healthcare team members.Client Details City Eagle Pass State TX
