Hospitality Sales Specialist

JANUS et Cie | LA Metro Region (Including Santa Barbara to San Luis Obispo) | Remote / Field-Based

Salary: $80,000–$85,000 DOE, plus commission

JANUS et Cie is a luxury outdoor furniture company serving discerning clients across the hospitality markets. We are seeking a Hospitality Sales Specialist to maintain existing accounts and develop new business within the LA region, including the Santa Barbara to San Luis Obispo corridor.

The ideal candidate brings prior experience in the luxury furniture space, a strong sales track record, and the ability to build lasting relationships with clients. This position is remote, with regular on-site client visits required.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities

• Develop and deliver presentations to architects, designers, purchasing agents, and owner's representatives
• Generate solutions and quotes for clients
• Create and close sales
• Manage current accounts to ensure company and client satisfaction
• Develop customer relationships and understand market dynamics to bring projects to successful close
• Prospect new accounts
• Handle day-to-day customer care with support from backup team members
• Meet sales goals
• Attend trade shows throughout the year
• Travel to clients within the assigned region
• Perform other duties as assigned

Supervisory Responsibilities
This position does not have supervisory responsibilities.

Organizational Relationships
This role interacts with all levels throughout the organization, including employees and outside vendors.

Qualifications

• Minimum of 7 years of sales experience, with at least 5 years in outside sales
• Luxury furniture or interior design knowledge is a plus
• Hunter mentality with exceptional persuasion skills
• Bachelor's degree or commensurate work experience
• Highly organized and detail-oriented
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills
• Ability to multi-task in a fast-paced environment
• Strong computer skills, including the Microsoft Office suite (Outlook, Word, Excel, and PowerPoint)
