# Job Opportunity – NICU Registered Nurse – Tennessee Start Date: October 19, 2026
Location: Chattanooga, Tennessee
Compensation: Details provided to qualified applicants
Schedule: 36 hours per week with occasional optional overtime, variable weekends, standby/call availability for low census highly preferred Highlights:

• Level III NICU with 23-bed unit and acuity-based patient ratios ranging from 1:1 to 1:3 (occasionally 1:4)
• Advanced neonatal equipment including Giraffe Omnibed, Panda warmers, Drager ventilators, oscillators, and multiple respiratory support modalities
• Documentation systems: Centricity Perinatal and Meditech
• Minimal floating required; optional opportunities to float to mother-baby unit as tech
• Work alongside highly experienced staff, many with 20-35+ years of NICU expertise
• Comprehensive scope of practice including PIV insertion, feeding tube placement, lab draws, central line management, and respiratory care in collaboration with RRT

Requirements:

• Active RN license in Tennessee or eligibility to obtain
• Minimum one year of NICU nursing experience required
• Level III or Level IV NICU experience strongly preferred
• Current BLS, NRP, and STABLE certifications required
• Proficiency in neonatal procedures including vascular access, airway management, and critical care interventions
