Family Law Attorney (4-Day Work Week, Onsite or Hybrid) Position Available Fair Cadora, APC is seeking a mid‑to‑senior level Associate Attorney to join our growing family law practice in San Diego. This is an onsite or hybrid, full‑time role with a 4‑day, 32‑hour work week. Who We Are Fair Cadora is a boutique family law firm founded in 2011 that serves clients throughout San Diego County. Compensation Expected total compensation, including quarterly bonuses: $150,000 – $200,000+ per year Base Salary: $134,000 – $150,000 per year, dependent on experience Quarterly Bonuses: No cap, tied to clear and transparent metrics Benefits 4‑day (32‑hour) work week Medical insurance (offering Blue Shield, Sharp, and Kaiser plans) Dental insurance Vision insurance 401(k) plan with company match Quarterly bonuses based on clear metrics 10 paid holidays Paid time off Fun company events and volunteer opportunities What You’ll Do You will carry an active family law caseload and be expected to move matters forward with skill and diligence. Day‑to‑day, this includes: Conduct consultations with potential clients Managing cases in alignment with client objectives and driving timely resolution Communicating with opposing counsel, clients, and the court via phone, email, and correspondence Making court appearances and conducting depositions Drafting declarations, motions, discovery, judgments, and trial briefs Conducting legal research and writing memoranda of points and authorities Maintaining strong, collaborative relationships with clients throughout their matter Providing litigation support for other attorneys when needed Who We’re Looking For You have at least 3 years of California family law experience and are comfortable running a complex, active trial court caseload independently. You litigate confidently and write effective motions but you’re also someone who takes client communication seriously and understands that how you guide a client through the process matters as much as the legal strategy. Specifically, you: Are licensed by and in good standing with the State Bar of California Have a proven track record navigating the demands of a robust family law caseload Are comfortable and skilled in court appearances and depositions Excel at writing motions, declarations, trial briefs, and judgments Work well as part of a small, collaborative team of attorneys, paralegals, and support staff Take ownership of your cases and thrive with autonomy, while knowing when to ask for input How to Apply Please submit your resume and cover letter telling us about your family law background and what draws you to this role.
